أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوٓا۟ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةًۭ وَءَاثَارًۭا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
کیا انہوں نے زمین میں چل پھر کر اپنے سے پہلوں کا انجام نہیں دیکھا؟ جو ان سے تعداد میں زیاده تھے قوت میں سخت اور زمین میں بہت ساری یادگاریں چھوڑی تھیں، ان کے کیے کاموں نے انہیں کچھ بھی فائده نہیں پہنچایا
Have they not travelled in the land to see the fate of those who went before them? They were more numerous and mightier and left greater traces of their power on the earth; yet all that they accomplished was of no avail to them.
