وَقَطَّعْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أُمَمًۭا ۖ مِّنْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنْهُمْ دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَبَلَوْنَٰهُم بِٱلْحَسَنَٰتِ وَٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
اور ہم نے دنیا میں ان کی مختلف جماعتیں کر دیں۔ بعض ان میں نیک تھے اور بعض ان میں اور طرح تھے اور ہم ان کو خوش حالیوں اور بدحالیوں سے آزماتے رہے کہ شاید باز آجائیں
We split them up into sections on the earth. Some of them are righteous while some of them are otherwise, and We tested them with blessings and misfortunes, so that they might return to the right path.
