وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَالِمًا، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ . مِثْلَهُ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ثِيَابَهُ .
Salim reported:
I heard Ibn Umar as saying that he had heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying like this (as mentioned above) but with a slight variation of wording [that instead of the word thaub (cloth) there is the word thiyab (the clothes) ].
