0Hadith Reference
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ “ أَوْ يَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ اخْتَرْ ” .
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ibn ‘Umar from the Prophet (ﷺ) to the same effect through a different chain of narrators. This version adds:
“Or one of them tells the other: “Exercise the right.”
