حَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، – يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ – حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمِثْلِهِ إِلاَّ قَوْلَهُ “ وَلاَ أُدْخِلَكَ النَّارَ ” . فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْهُ .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik through another chain of transmitters, but with a slight variation of wording (and the words are):
I shall cause him to enter Hell.” (The words subsequent to these) have not been mentioned.
